^2k10 , Been playing it since last week , the my player mode , bt due to my labby having problems , I can only ply for short while , currently in D-League , super sub , 10.5 points , 3.3 assists , jux lik me (scaled down)

-my defense have improved step by step

-my shooting touch is getting bck at least decent

-my bday was over

-strted to go to driving practical lesson , lik the old saying , last min chiong

-strted to ply soccer too , trying to lock myself as a super sub striker in my course's fc

For the Men's Open Competition , well , hope the pictures will say the thousands of words to explain the joy I had in it .

Overall , there are of course parts that I feel regretted or sad about , bt the plus signs still wins ..

I have to admit tt I dread for mre plying time , bt I also knw tt I didn't performed to expectations to deserve that too N I also regretted abt alot of little stuff I did v v wrong when I was on the court ..

But , I definitely love the bond I shared with the team , it wasn't a very strong one and the times we all had together was short , but for the moments that we were together , we rly were a team and we bonded better den expected ..

I also learnt abt some of the realities of bball .. N i feel tt I've improved quite abit thru the experience of plying competitive bball in the mens open category ..

n to a fren , I rly appreciate that you are a v passionate skills development coach and I have full support of u doing that , but , I rly do appreciate too that you would not discuss with me about training me and trying to make me feel that you can make me improve alot , you alrdy have a large quantity of students for you to train weekly and also , you telling me all that has made me feel more of tired instead of the "aftereffects" you desire , so , I rly hope that whenever we do discuss about ur training program , we cn solely discuss abt your students jux becux I'm v concerned abt them ..

anw , been attending the new look Singapore Slingers games lately and was rly inspired by the great performance of loca players , Hong Wei Jian and one of my favourite players , Wong Wei Long .. they r so gd even when plying against players more den 2x of their size .. rly hope Slingers cn win the ABL

Well , haven't been posting cause was busy with the friendly matches and trainings with Team Arcs ..

below is some personal reflection on myself :

First and Second Friendly Match personal Reflection : Really wasn't doing well at all , was too nervous and not playing my ball game .

First official training : Finally scored my first two field goals as a member of Arcs , haha , plus got a better vision of my role ..

Third Friendly Match : Finally scored a field goal in a friendly match in Arcs , and finished with 12 points in the first quarter , which is quite alot for me , but of course , that's because the opponents are not playing v v tight D ..

Fourth Friendly Match :Well , disappointed , I feel that I was quite calm alrdy , bt probabaly due to the defensive pressure , I wasn't able to carry out what i was suppose to do , bright side being that I at least scored one ball , lol ..

Second official training : Well , more bold with taking shots , bt at times care too much abt defense coming towards me , nid to gambatei alrdy ..

anw , so wasn't rly plying well overall in the team , but I will prove to the doubters that I can during the actual competition , or at least tt I can ply my ball game , I cnt drag the team's performance with my low class performance ..

argh , tt's all , one day left to the actual competition against Firestar @ Singapore Basketball Centre 8.45pm ..

Yesterday

morning , went to sch to show our fyp advisor our finally finished FYP project , at least it's 90% done , and he said that if he were the tester , he would have gave us 95% , n i agree too as I thought it was so damn nice .

nt I wan to hao lian or whad , bt our project is at least technique wise , flawless , we were able to solve any problems faced earlier on , struggles , obstacles , we passed them all , n produce this out , it's lik ... i'm rly proud of it , when it's finished with sound effect I will gt it n upload here i guess ..

afternoon , went to meet "SAM" n we went to west mall , shop ard , den went bck home , den go to indoor stadium wif Marshall , Wilson n Henry , we went bugis first , ate KFC , den go to the stadium , so crowded the bus , I was so touched by some of the really real fans who went ..

when we were there , saw the singapore team vs asean team , though it's a loss , bt cn c my fav singapore bball idol mike wong , it's so damn gd , den pitch darkness filled the stadium , pyros and fireworks arose from the earth , and bryant came out in a very extremely great entrance ...

though he was only there for a short while , bt to me , he's alrdy a source of motivation even just like that .

Yesterday was rly the best day of 2009 , thus far ..

i thought it would have been a vengeance , bt after tt , i found love in it and hatred turns into love ..

n my way of making my everyday different is trying to improve my bball .. sounds crap .. bt it's true , u ply bball better n better each day and u will find urself getting happier each day ...

anw , bt I feel tt I always cn only ply better when I'm needed , when I have a mentality tt I can b more dependant on teammates , my plying also tend to slack off .. dunno hw to chng tt mentality ..

So the part abt nt being able to post pictures is correct n occurs to me too ..

hmm , for the past week , have some sort of discoveries ..

i feel lik i sort of live bck to when I was 13-14 years old , where I was independant , all alone , as well as after Os , bt at least tt period gt gf so nt counted ..

hmmm , sometimes , it takes being lonely to feel tt u r nt lonely i guess , I thought I've no much ppl who will talk to me n all tt after i leave my best friends' circle and also my so called new best friend ..

bt it didn't seemed lik tt too .. i find tt as long as u r alive , there will b ppl who still wanna b ur fren , though nt close , bt at least they wan to have a certain closeness with you , n i cn feel them getting closer to me alrdy , this close the gap between the relationship ppl have with me ..

anw , bball wise , though nt rly doing well especially with the current shooting slump , bt I guess when my mood is there , intensity is high , I'm doing fairly well .. n to further improve , I'm trying to improve on vertical , c if cn or nt ..

anw , to say the sad thing , I thought LOA was over n I finally will b getting some well deserved grades when my LOA will be extended .. I would rather they close the sch as a holiday rather den having it working as usual and jux eliminate a certain group of ppl ..

also , another sad thing , my muscle stretched when cramped last saturday , i mean during last saturday of june .. rly affected my shooting all tt alot .. n also , fall down stairs yesterday while typing sms ask iggy go down the court meet , plus gt one part of the fall my knee collided against the so caled sharp edge of one of the stair .. pain till dunno hw ..

aww , my world has rly run out of electricity , lucky gt bball , it's lik a candle out of darkness and it help me lit up several other candles filled with friends who do not give me up ..

I rly feel v gd for my perimeter shooting at least for Sat and especially Sun , as they were v consistent in my perspective ..

n on Sun and today , even for Sat , I think I was able to ply quite at least average defense , even at times , slightly a bit gd defense ..

but of course , I'm most impress wif today's performance , plying a match where we won 11-6 den second match , we were quite complacent defensively n also the rest of my teammates were quite complacent offensively as well , n at a point we were down 3-10 den I got v v serious , n we made a comeback .. rly nice .. especially the wade-esque circus lay up i made , though it came wif a price tt i fall down n sort of shocked my left wrist which was once fractured ...

well ,smtimes i jux feel so not appreciate for alot of things ..

my mum , i knw i didn't help out in alot of stuffs , bt when i do helpout , she would jux say the negative stuffs ..

"her" , i nt sure hw many things which I've done for the first time of my life , n probably nth to gt bck in return , well , actually nt "her" fault , i mean , somethings jux cnt force , n tt's whad made me so sad..

n all the bball ppl ard , well , nt all , jux tt minority group of them .. i rly dunno whad i do tt's keep being wrong , i believe tt at times i've given quite alot of effort on defense , n i personally feel tt i didn't let my opponent have a good time either , which is whad defense is abt , bt probably ppl jux talk bout facts/stats , hardcore amt of stls n blocks , n evrything else , probably i shud b honoured tt they put such a high expectation on me ..

Well , this H1N1 stuff is spreading so fast and our school is not taking much action . It asked yr 1s to sty at home and expect tt yr 2 and yr 3s sty in this contaminated school .. it's jux lik the Quarrentine movie lik tt ..

been in sort of a nt vry gd period of life where i keep living in the shadow of the lost in the recent 3 on 3 , well , i didn't knw my role dn , n i thought i knw y role nw , bt it has more expctation den it looks also ..

bt anw , the gd thing is i semi-redeem for my mistakes in the 2nd round of the 3on3 , with a recent win wif the SORA in a friendly versus Trekkers .. i managed to pour in consecutive key buckets in the 4th to keep the game as well as being part of the top 2 plays of the day , an assist to Timothy for the three n also a screen for him for a consecutive three ..

well , i dunno , bt I do lik our spirit in the game , especially Timothy and Iggy , they r th v key to help me understand my role .. bt , mayb i overdo it , ppl jux dun gt satisfied , jux wan more , well , jux my luck for nt being the star , evrything the star wans , u must give , well , tt's the reality of life ba , tt's y to me , sometimes i feel tt the best team I've joined is Spirit , cux lik , evrything was under my control , my teammates jus expect me to do my best to score , they will b my support , rly lik tt alot , plus our spirit all v high ..

well , haven been posting for awhile , been bz wif preparing for the FIBA33 3-on-3 , guess i shud have regret preparing ?? hmm , well , anw , it's all over anw ..

well , at least we clinched the 1st seed of Group A n advance to the 2nd round , defeat our opponents by an average of 9 points , well , sound so pointless , just trying to make myself feel more happy or contented or less disappointed ..

actually , I'm v disappointed n down wif it , to tell u frankly , I feel tt I haven show anything , prove anything , n I was knocked out , n as a team , tt wasn't our ball game , n I have to admit tt I was one of the major reason behind tt .. I wanted to quit bball , bt I knw I couldn't , part of me will still miss bball , cux it's the best sports to me , n it's nt even a sport to me anymore .. it's a part of my life , couldn't say i cnt live without bball , bt at least my life wun b complete without bball .. n thx to those buddies out there , Marcus , Teng , Chin Shen , Zi Hao , n the first man to console me after the match , Yong Quan .. thx , cux without ur encouragement , i dun think i cn pull through this down moment

bt i wouldn't say tt it's negative , i realise a lot of things , especially hw difficult it is to team up lik tt , it's a different scenario from previous matches , but it also taught me alot on being a gd role player .. it isn't easy , need alot of determination and focus , n i realise tt it was a big part in the 2nd round , felt tt I should have more focus and all tt , guess I've cooled down too much .. too old to acelerate my intensity ..

den after tt go to eat wif Teng they all , den go to my house to ply Winning Eleven on my ps2 , it's lik long time nv ply alrdy .. quite fun actually ..

Today

went to ply bball , on my way there , cux one of the screws in my steering drop , so the steering does not work well , den downslope outside csc , the bike gotten out of control , run over a kerb n "fly" off .. escape frm death kind of feeling ..

at the court , was lik slacking all the way , den go to repair my bike .. n eat , den teng hui n chin shen came , den we ply match , den didn't lose any matches , n though was a bit of off , bt frm mid range shoot still ok , n today rly dunno whad day , super many ppl come n tell me my shooting damn high n ask me y n all tt ..

haha , the reason is cux i scared i kana block .. n also i didn't purposely made it high , when i practice my shooting form , it jux shape out naturally , guess tt's my strength barhx , ability to shoot high .. lol ..

den Ah Chang n Aaron came also , same time as Guan Kai , den we ply awhile , David also came , den i go to eat dinner wif Aaron n Ah Chang they all n my shooting slump the whole afternoon ended ... den team wif Ying Ren , Abu n he's philipenes fren , quite nice , I only nid to shoot n gt some ez putbacks off unnoticed rebounds ..

den go hm , go eat wif Teng Hui n Chin Shen , which Marcus drove us there , den we go to 4 head c whether ding dong shop open bt it's closed so we go to shop n save to buy ice cream , den halfway we saw alvin , aaron n chen hao plying at hkn so teng suggest we go to ply wif them .. den after a long wait they finally agree to ply us .. we cruise n win easily in all four matches , even wif chin shen only cn use he's left hand for absolutely evrything .. lol .. bt chen hao ply serious n spoil my slippers , oh my ..

read some bball comics b4 I go out , eat chicken rice den go to the court , there is one particular comic which I was v attracted to , was abt a china bballer's dream into making it into the NBA , how he work towards it , though the stry is short n incomplete , bt it's nice ..

den I reach there straight away ply full court , wah , strting still ok la , den ying ren they all made a comeback and eventually win us .. hmm , den after tt ply halfcourt matches , also like cnt ply , bt still win cux David and Cassidy r v strong ..

den we lose after dunno hw many matches come out , was demoralised and tired , bt I still wanna ply , bt I knw v hard tt ppl will ask me ply their team , n even Jonas was chosen instead of me when teams dun have enuff ppl , bt I cn blame no others la ..

den after tt Jonas and David go to another court , den me n one 13 yr old boy who is taller than me by 1 cm ... (WAAH!) join Ying Ren and Cas continue their match , den I decided tt I should try to strt my engine alrdy .. though nt super duper good , bt at least I got help out the team win comfortably ...

dn ply quite normal , lik yesterday , i concentrated more on the post ... lol .. except tt becux of a sprained right thumb , i concentrate more on the offensive side , lik making post assists n scoring in the post , n to me , it was quite successful .. especially when u r in the same team as Chin Shen , nt saying tt it's bad , it's a gd way , u learn to entrust the scoring load onto a teammate n learn to sacrifice for the team , through teaming wif him , I learnt how to entrust a teammate for scoring n also have an increasing interest in rebounding n post scoring , cux I knw tt if I cn do well in tt area , it nt jux benefit me , bt the cooperation between me n him ...

firstly , some ammendments to the nba plaers-friend comparison , addition of jonas n change of david's comparison

today , didn't realise I woke up v late , den help my mum do the housework n she is always nagging at me , she always doesn't c the good side of me , rather , she look at hw I didn't help out in some of the things I dun have ability in ..

hmmm , den I go to eat wif Jonas at KFC , den we gotten some sticky stuff on our hands tt's v hard to clean off , den go to shelter court , strting ply was super slacking n wasn't at good form , bt slowly , my form comes ..

actually the form came much needed , cux we ply at opposite court , den me n jonas n a sort of amateur baller vs jun hao , li quan n chin shen , who r so much different in physical , bt we managed to win two out of three match , even when jonas was quite off form at some part of it .. hehe

Yuan Li , he is I think , the one who took the longest , we lasted 3 yrs as rivals and enemies , n he keep using physical attacks on me , cx he wan to show tt he gain superiority against me ... bt thru sm incidents , me plying n winning him in a 1 on 1 , n me borrowing him money when he found tt he lost he's wallet .. he begin to respect me more n more as a fren ... N we were even at one period , I think , each other's closest friend ..

Teng Hui .. he used to bully me abit , though nt alot at first , bt he's character made him v sociable n we become best friends eventually , till now , cux we always share evrything in between us and accept each other's differences ...

Hmm , this is my first post for the new yr , actually , today was jux bball n during the countdown , i was chatting with one of the older players in the shelter court , so nth much special happen for today ..

bt reflecting on last yr , many things has happened , hmm , first starting with the three major injuries I have , fracture(not dislocate) wrist and ppointer finger , den my back which made me half handicapped for days ,

den i also have shooting slumps this yr , which cause me to keep chnging my shooting mechanics , n I also dun have a girl friend this yr

bt there are also positive things which happens this yr , I have more friendly classmates this yr , I get closer to Marcus and ZiHao this yr as well , as well as making friends wif Damien and Melvin

the other positive things are lik my MY 3 on 3 medal which I'm still v proud of , n tt I've gone travelling without my family for once ..

Religion Crisis , New Life

well , couldn't much explain my situation ard , bt these few days , my life definitely change , everything revolving around me changes as well ..

n it's all becux I've chng to a new religion , actually , nt completely new to it either , I went to City Harvest , went to New Creation , went to another n was also involved weekly in International Baptist Church when I was staying with my aunt , so it wasn't completely a new thing

the only thing new about it is I'm currently surrounded by members of W320 , which is the cell group i belong to , I can't say i'm upset or unhpy abt it , bt I'm still trying my best to adapt to this new life , new believes , new theories , new logics , new devotion , new band of friends , it feels quite well , bt smth jus seemed to be in between me n the new life , i knw one of the reason is my parents , who my dad is a fortune teller , a feng shui master , a zhan tong , a v strong believer of taoism , which is definitely one big obstacle , when I have to act differently due to difference in religion at home and out , secondly , my best friends , most of which either free thinker or taoism , whom I would have to make sure I still remain as the same Gordan I was to them , at least these are the obstacles I knw of , but what's more dangerous are those I will not be aware of ..

haha ... fast rite ? den i go to buy KFC , got one ah peh help me look after my bike when i was going to takeaway ,

den go to find Wen Liang they all , den I plyed 1v1 vs Chze Kuan ... hmm ... was slacking ... bt still managed to gt 10 ... haha ... lost to him ... bt still expected cux he's so far better than any other 14 yrs olds (in this batch of yr) except ZhiHui(who cux I've taught) n YuYang(cux of he's exposure n he's height and speed)... bt i'm still glad tt I got hold of he's steps n all tt through the 1v1 , cux tt was vry helpful when I face him in the 5v4

well ... anw , to the 5v4 , he n Wen Liang one team , together wif their friends , gt two shooter and one rebounder among them ... I was lik ... omg ... plus the two of them ? die , will b a hard match ...

den my team is the four ppl one , gt me , one center , wenXiang and one more , two of them are considered more amateur , den i was lik die liao ...

anw , the end result is 50-30 , we won , bt to me , is jux barely above tt mark of the word trash .. haix ... we were only able to win by getting efficient on the fast break , with me going for plenty of coast to coast lay ups and sometimes feeding the center wif a no look ... n oso , grabbing plenty of boards (especially the center) helped alot in the win and also my reading of Chze Kuan which limit he's points n oso my ability to drive past him or pull up a shot easily on the break..

den halfway thru the match , I was racing up court , gt one boy riding bike across the court n I banged into him , awfully painful ...

den I go eat wif Xin Xun at mac ... haha .. den go bck to the court , den ply wif Damien .. actually he's my some sort of hi bye bball fren in the past ... bt saw him plenty of times at this new shelter court alrdy so might as well knw he's name .. haha ... den he was the one who call me the camper and sniper ... haha ... cux he say i always sneak at one spot den camp there wait for pass and shoot .. haha ..

Hmm ... today , class only have 9 ppl ... hmm pathetic ... den it's lik my frens said i was cheated when I went to the clubbing bt Keith will try to gt bck the $$ for me ...

den it's lik .. go to ply bball wif Keith n he's fren , first time ply in front of Corine's eyes ... well ... shudn't lie to anyone , I admit , last sem , I did have feelings for her , bt I nv tell anyone abt it b4 ... n it's lik i couldn't even concentrate fully when shooting the ball ...

den ply wif Ivan also , den go home , one of Keith's fren lik is one rare breed , come into poly seldom c ppl talking to me so much bout bball n cn tolerate my bball freakness ...

n i go eat BK alone ... haha den go to ply bbal at HKNCC wif adults ... no doubt , leslie is not forcing shots so much anymore , big improvement

Hmm ... today , woke up quite early , watch the dream team's final game vs croatia , wow , the toni kukoc n petro smth one is gd ... n MJ lives up to he's trash talking man ...

went to buy bball shorts wif Wen Liang , den ply bball wif him n Jun Rong ... den it's lik ... hmm ... well ... won 3 outta 5 matches ...

den gt philipenes match and HKNCC's filipinos are plying as well ... den christiano ronaldo(te nickname I give to one of them last tym) was bravo , bt the no.10 uncle is even better , he's posting move remind me of michael jordan , he's assist , three pointer , defence awed me , it's the first time I felt something lik tt ...

den go to the new shelter court , den it's lik plyed quite ok , knocking down shots , bt oso have my share of cold shooting slumps ...

hmm ... bt one thing I guess I've improved on is my shootig mentality , been more daring wif shooting the ball , even when I'm cold ... n i'm able to recover frm cold slumps due to not being demoralised by slumps ..
