today , woke up early jux to wait for Xin Yi to wake up , den finally , after 4 hours , she wake up , den I meet her at tom&stefanie @ westmall , den buy burger king before heading to the shelter court , halfway there , was thinking of holding her hand , bt i guess since we r through , it is better nt to ..

den ply bball wif the tall person who i gave advice to , den we ply wif three swiss cottage ppl who at their age of 13 , cn edge out alot of ppl older than them who I've seen ..

den , taught the tall person some skills lik fade away , scoring in the paint n all tt , den i wait for pearlyn n ah bu to come den ply against Ming Hui (my ex non sch team teammate ) , dun say y i sound so honoured being a non sch team , it's cux i as a non sch team , beaten a lot of sch team players n i'm v v proud of it ..

anw , we own Ming Hui n he's cousin n he nt v hpy , at least i cn tell so , den i jux do some shootaround before i set off for yuhua training

yuhua cc is closed so go to 108 court n ply 5 on 5 , real friendly match , sudden one , n i score 5 points n dunno 1 or 2 assist , 1 block n 1 rebound , was v fun , cux my scoring was crucial as we gt frm kana own till almost tie the game , n we won eventually , thx to sean's clutch 3 pointer , 12-11 , won by 1 point in 8 min

den after tt learn whad arh ? ohya , catching the ball , den ply match , den tt chze kuan , knn solo , he's lik solo nvm , he go turnover so much , turnover so much nvm , cnt score , cnt score nvm , cnt gt me the win , i alrdy v tulan him , after tt i go wanna strt my kiao ppl den the match stop , wtf

den we were lik plying matches , den duno y in matches opposite , my shooting sucks , bt gt a few match my drive in was quite bck to the way it used to be , especially the last match , where I nearly make us win , bt failed to , lost 11-10 vs jun xiong n gang


den i go to find shi long , he's gf, yusong n sean to eat mac n celebrate shi long's going to NS , den i acc Sean wait for he's bus , den cycle bck home

so i really wish to thank them n oso my this semester classmates cux they r oso making me feel tt they r the best classmates I will ever have in poly life ..


it's nt tt yuan li , chin shen r nt gd friends , (rong bao , teng hui n zihao no doubts are still my Most Important Pals) , bt mayb it's becux of on court conflicts , both parties always drag it into the friendship ..


bt still , main point is tt i have widen my social circle outside of basketball n i seemed to gt over my fear of contact tt lil bit in the last match today ..

bt still no gf (nt sure whad was the status of r/s between me n xinyi), wth , jux nw at mac tt time , den was reminded of tt, haix , rly v long alrdy , dun tell me i rly going to have single life until i disappear frm this world

Religion Crisis , New Life

well , couldn't much explain my situation ard , bt these few days , my life definitely change , everything revolving around me changes as well ..

n it's all becux I've chng to a new religion , actually , nt completely new to it either , I went to City Harvest , went to New Creation , went to another n was also involved weekly in International Baptist Church when I was staying with my aunt , so it wasn't completely a new thing

the only thing new about it is I'm currently surrounded by members of W320 , which is the cell group i belong to , I can't say i'm upset or unhpy abt it , bt I'm still trying my best to adapt to this new life , new believes , new theories , new logics , new devotion , new band of friends , it feels quite well , bt smth jus seemed to be in between me n the new life , i knw one of the reason is my parents , who my dad is a fortune teller , a feng shui master , a zhan tong , a v strong believer of taoism , which is definitely one big obstacle , when I have to act differently due to difference in religion at home and out , secondly , my best friends , most of which either free thinker or taoism , whom I would have to make sure I still remain as the same Gordan I was to them , at least these are the obstacles I knw of , but what's more dangerous are those I will not be aware of ..

as usual , I ply bball , this time wif Wen Liang and Wei Xiang , den after lunch we ply again , wif Ba Gei n Yi Liang they all , n find tt my three point stroke was quite solid yesterday , so was lik keep shooting frm outside (especially in the evening when the inside defense was so tough)

n in between afternoon and evening , one tall guy approach me for he's driving , n also the improvement he shud make to make it into the university school team , so I gave him some advices and I do hope he succeed in he's dream , haha , guess I did something good =)

n Joyce n Damien they all were here n Joyce was like a great three pointer shooter , hmm , promising player indeed ..

den I think excessive stress on my ankles n shin , aching n pain , nt sure if it is an injury .. hmm , den ply one on one wif ahbu , n was lik 7-3 , lost to him , haha , den i ply wif the guy i nicknamed wu ke qun , ply 3 pointer shootout n i won , den we ply 2 on 2 against two china guys n won them , first match 11-2 , second match 11-0

den cycle bck home , thinking of y my driving in sucks , actually for nw , I'm considered rly fortunate , at my so called downpoint in driving in , i get to knw Mel and Damien cux gt them as teammates = no nid ply inside offense , thus , i cn concentrate on jux camping outside waiting for a pass for an open shot ..

Went for service , den i was sitting beside Amber , our cellgroup leader , I was so nervous n evrything , when I hear her sing , i felt so guilty cux her voice damn nice when singing , den when we were asked to give offering , I sit beside her , dun dare to jux return an empty envelope , so i search my wallet for a $2 , which I guess is the most I could have given at this period of time.. n through today's service , I learn to forget the past , look at the future , thus , I shud nt always jus say things lik "if i was sec 3 " , "i've done enuff by winning the silver " or "tt guy is my enemy " , all i shud do is forget n forsee the future

den we ply Holy War after the service n i felt so nervous n excited cux i'm plying as the lowest ranking christian , luckily i got the mediacorp talent cn fool ppl n i guess i camouflage well , nv kana any punishments , YEAH!!!

den , had dinner , n was plying catching wif sandrea , n omg , i shud nt tell u her age to make myself feel embarassed , haha

went to interview for the temporary replacement job ... den me n zi hao walk to imm to eat , den i bought deaboys book 29 , den we go to jp2 , waah , become so damn big(didn't explore tt much tt time)

den i went to ys house wif zihao , den we ply nba 2k9 until 6 in the morning , wow , i was bravo wif gasol , gt one match 30 pts , 9 rebs 1 blk , 3 ast

den we afternoon da bao food , den watch nba live match , phoenix vs trail blazers , wow brandon roy , first time saw him ply full match n he gotten a career high , 52 points , wtf , no wonder gt ppl chanted "MVP!,MVP!" , n yong shen g was so upset cux he's nash's diehard fan ...

bt me n zihao were siding roy midway thru the third quarter due to he's awesome performance .. den go hm ..dn marcus ask me go alif wif him den we go eat

Saturday

plyed whole day of bball , tt's more or less whad lor ... haha ... morning , gt one match score all 11 points on 3 pointers , me n my teammate ...

den ... i was a bit on form frm three point range for the afternoon , plyed wif ian they all n nearly win , bt won anw when we mix the team up ...

den evening , after coming to my hus to take a break , we go down ply again , den i had a awesome series ... me , marcus , zhi hui , zhi sian , versus Jonas , Jerrold , YuYang n Zhi Liang , rly , I must say , is tough match , first match 11-7 , lost bt i think i showed pretty much effort trying nt to gt trash , den second match n third match , i was on fire , n especially plyed well as a whole team in the last game wif zhi hui leading the charge (cux i'm tired) n marcus having skyhigh accuracy ...

dn eat dinner wif yuyang , jonas , marcus , jerrold n marcus kana fined for smoking .. waah ... unlucky sia ... den me n jerrold n yuyang ply horse three times n i won two ... haha ...

den go to find Wen Liang they all , den I plyed 1v1 vs Chze Kuan ... hmm ... was slacking ... bt still managed to gt 10 ... haha ... lost to him ... bt still expected cux he's so far better than any other 14 yrs olds (in this batch of yr) except ZhiHui(who cux I've taught) n YuYang(cux of he's exposure n he's height and speed)... bt i'm still glad tt I got hold of he's steps n all tt through the 1v1 , cux tt was vry helpful when I face him in the 5v4

well ... anw , to the 5v4 , he n Wen Liang one team , together wif their friends , gt two shooter and one rebounder among them ... I was lik ... omg ... plus the two of them ? die , will b a hard match ...

den my team is the four ppl one , gt me , one center , wenXiang and one more , two of them are considered more amateur , den i was lik die liao ...

anw , the end result is 50-30 , we won , bt to me , is jux barely above tt mark of the word trash .. haix ... we were only able to win by getting efficient on the fast break , with me going for plenty of coast to coast lay ups and sometimes feeding the center wif a no look ... n oso , grabbing plenty of boards (especially the center) helped alot in the win and also my reading of Chze Kuan which limit he's points n oso my ability to drive past him or pull up a shot easily on the break..

den halfway thru the match , I was racing up court , gt one boy riding bike across the court n I banged into him , awfully painful ...

den I go eat wif Xin Xun at mac ... haha .. den go bck to the court , den ply wif Damien .. actually he's my some sort of hi bye bball fren in the past ... bt saw him plenty of times at this new shelter court alrdy so might as well knw he's name .. haha ... den he was the one who call me the camper and sniper ... haha ... cux he say i always sneak at one spot den camp there wait for pass and shoot .. haha ..

Hmm ... today , woke up quite early , watch the dream team's final game vs croatia , wow , the toni kukoc n petro smth one is gd ... n MJ lives up to he's trash talking man ...

went to buy bball shorts wif Wen Liang , den ply bball wif him n Jun Rong ... den it's lik ... hmm ... well ... won 3 outta 5 matches ...

den gt philipenes match and HKNCC's filipinos are plying as well ... den christiano ronaldo(te nickname I give to one of them last tym) was bravo , bt the no.10 uncle is even better , he's posting move remind me of michael jordan , he's assist , three pointer , defence awed me , it's the first time I felt something lik tt ...

den go to the new shelter court , den it's lik plyed quite ok , knocking down shots , bt oso have my share of cold shooting slumps ...

hmm ... bt one thing I guess I've improved on is my shootig mentality , been more daring wif shooting the ball , even when I'm cold ... n i'm able to recover frm cold slumps due to not being demoralised by slumps ..

well .. I shud strt wif friday ... hmm ... wasn't all tt bad , plyed bball wif my classmates and find tt my shooting is nt getting v v well ... so i decided to drive more .. n converted a few difficult contact lay ups which I'm v py abt , especially when I did the iverson style fingerroll/floater out of a sudden .. it's tt shot which made me realise hw stupid I actually was to always plan hw exactly evrything shud go ... tt's mayb the key to my deteoriation in my offense ...i shud have left my mind blank when I'm going for the two steps ..

anw , was lik , me , keith , vernon n darren , vs some tall players , gt one of them indian , 190-200 cm ... walao ... bt he is nt v skillful , though i knw the match is mostly going to be a victory , bt i try my best nt to make it a loopsided one ... make 5 shots , with Keith making one shot , 11-6 , wel ... i shud say at least we did try our best (though nt at the v best) n it's suppose to be a class gathering sort of bball game , so I shudn't kicked a fuss abt losing either ... den i ate alone at bk for dinner ... hmm , kinda miss this feeling , eating alone in the fastfood restaurant , excited to face any great challenge when i step up on the court later on ... tt type of feeling ... either fastfood or waffle(peanut butter+chocolate spread) and mango ice blended bubble tea

n I realised the most difficult thing is nt to learn hw to win , bt hw to accept defeat ...

den , i went to ply bball wif my sis after lunch , den it was lik taught her hw to shoot the arch out(credits to yusong) ... den she go home for awhile , den i was practicing free throws , did 90 push ups on the court , was quite embarassing , tt's the diff between the me now n last tym , last tym , i was belittled by evryone b4 i strted training so i had no pride n i dun feel embarass for anything i do ..

den the rain comes when my sis came bck n i taught her the dribble drive (credits to ah tao n myself)...

den i go home , demonstrate the jumpshot to my sister den i jump up tt time nv notice i standing under the fan , n one of the panel swing towards my wrist n ouch ! tt hurts , bt the fan is more hurt , the panel drop n the fan become unstable , looking lik it's gonna fall off anytime ... looks lik my wrist is ... wow !

Bleach & my road to turning bck time

Well ... yesterday , was watch the Bleach wif my frens n strted to feel lik it might b nice and now , I'm addicted to reading it ...

den , went to JP wif my sis to enquire about the genting .. den we went to eat mac , den go bck to gombak , where I taught her abit of bball , n shoot bball myself n was lik 9/10 frm free throw after warm up ... which is ... hmm ... somehow , still disappointed that I nv make all , bt I wil still try to make it 10 soon ...

haha ... den it's lik , download alot of mixes again , n dunno ... randomly dunno whad to do all of a sudden ...

I want myself bck!

hmm ... today , slacked at hm , den go wif Wen Liang to wait for he's mum , was planning to buy a cheap bball shoe wif him , den nvm ... den I go to queensway shopping centre ... hmm ...
den saw alot of nice new shoe , actually i quite lik the addidas elemental fusion , bt nt sure if it's rly tt nice n cool , hmm ...

den we ate at the curry chicken stall n was lik , wtf kind of customer service ... bt oso nvm la ... bt rly la , if she keep on insisting tt i pay nt enuff , i sure walk away frm the stall ..

den go ard , saw many nice shoes in my possible cartlist :
Nike Zoom Kobe 81(cheap , cool looking , bt it's extremely high ankle)
Addidas TS creator Billups (well ... billups is the man )
Addidas Elemental Fusion ( jus somehow attracted me )
Jordan XX3(u knw ? hmm collector's favourite )
I guess these were the only ones in my mind jux nw .. which means I'm concentrating on Nike and Addidas ...

den me , yusong n sean went to ikea .. lol ... den the chairs were so comfortable ... nt lik my house one ...

den we get home , sit on the MRT , on the floor , haven done tt for ages , den when i was walking bck home , which is nt a short journey frm the MRT station , I thought of hw exciting the match will b if i put a Gordan aged 18 and a Gordan aged 14/15

it's putting a Gordan who's plying style is more of outwitting versus a Gordan who outjumps , outspeed(dunno if there are such phrases) .. bt it's more of using athletic ability in tt case ..

bt i guess it's hard to say who's better than who , I definitely gt better at passing now n those stepback , fadeaway jumper ,box out n all tt n my range is extended to three n beyond three at times ...

bt when i was younger , i jump better , quicker , run faster , better crossover , better lay up , lights out frm mid range (due to my free throw training at tt time i guess ) ... so it's kind of tough , of cux the best of both would be better , but I knw one thing I lack today which will nv gt me bck to the days , which is to always keep myself at the top of the form in evry game ...

anw , aww ... jux hope to b more youthful ... have more burst , lik sean n wen liang , u cnt exactly say they r v v v strong , bt they r those kind of players who cn b the key to victory down the line if they maintain their so called focus for the matches ..

wonder if I can still improve bck to the time ..

aww ... give me bck my youth !

I feel that mayb I shud nt ply bball anymore ... well ... I have to admit it was right tt when I was at my prime , I nv watch NBA at all, but to not get the feeling of flying and soaring , it's a totally different subject ...

n abt NBA again , now , i c their stats sheet n nv watch highlights (due to lagging internet) as well ... regarding coacheability and talking back , my attitude definitely is at wrong ... n tt's y , i shud always always jus leave tt team alone , try to mayb stop NBA stats looking as well , mayb jux viewing the headlines to c who wins the game , n some impt things lik someone breaking records , strt to shoot free throws n do solo lay up drills lik hw i used to

n strt to run more .. I must gt bck to where I was 3-4 yrs ago ...

I go to the ghim moh to treat to my back , asked marcus along ... den we go to slack at BBCC ... den it's lik go hm tt time , I heard abt the ghost thing frm chin shen they all den i go home keep having the thoguht tt smth is following me ... bt luckily there isn't any ...

After sch , do the rj wif Zaki ... it was fun chatting wif him ...

den go hm wif Wen Liang n Sean ... wah ... anw , plyed 1 on 1 wif Sean , nearly lose sia , he's shooting frm outside the paint and some parts of the mid range was damn accurate ... bt once he misses , I go to my hometown n hits em alrdy ...
